I recently got this Sigma DP1S from eBay. A well kept and preserved camera. The 16.6mm lens on its APS-C sensor is equivalent to 28mm on a full frame sensor. I am tempted by the Foveon X3 sensor. It seems the sensor needs good lighting (sunny days?) to show its colour restoration ability. I just could not get stunning pictures like some others did.
SIGMA DP1S (1/200 sec, ISO200)
The colour tone is quite like a film photo.
It’s cloudy when I took the photos. In order to get better colour saturation, I set the ISO to 200 for most of the shots. Rarely used 400 or above.
